Helping Manufacturers Transition to Industry 4.0
A 2021 study by McKinsey & Company found that 94% of manufacturers surveyed reported that Industry 4.0 (I4.0) had allowed them to keep operations up, while 56% reported that these technologies were critical to their responsiveness during the pandemic.
However, McKinsey also identified lack of people, skills, and knowledge, as well as data-security concerns and funding as barriers to implementing I4.0 solutions.
